Camping at Hume Lake

In an attempt to be more "outdoorsy", I decided that we should go on a family campout. So last Friday we decided to be brave and go camping with all the kiddos. Hume Lake was recommended to us, so we decided to give it a try. As soon as we pulled up to the campsite, I knew I hadn't packed warm enough clothes for myself and the kids. It does, in fact, make a difference being 5000 feet above sea level. We spent a very chilly night, and between Ryan and I probably got about three hours of sleep, but it was fun. The lake was beautiful!Yes, even in the wilderness I'm very concerned about dental hygiene.

  3. how fun, I love Hume Lake! I've been there so many times, but when we camped there, we kinda got to stay in my friend's cabin :) so not as bad. I'm glad you got to experience it! :)

  5. When the boys go to Father's and son's they don't even bring toothbrushes. When we camp as a family, I bring the toothbrushes.

  6. What darling pictures, I guess I have learned over the years (I always get cold) to pack warm no matter were we camp, no matter what time of year. I don't enjoy it if I'm cold! See how wonderful and good natured you are...thats the Christi I remember always so very positive! I really miss your sweet family. Love, Cyndi
