I love the pictures !!! What an awesome blessing dress, is it old? What a great family heirloom either way. Your kids are so adorable, of course I am a bit prejudiced cuz I feel like family. Your parents shared you, with me, when you were an infant and I didn't have a baby yet. And Grant is one of my Sunbeams !!!
Yes, Robin...you are family. That is a sweet memory...you holding baby Christi. Sweet times long ago. Christi...you didn't tell me if Sarah liked her bracelet. hahaha. I hope it didn't hurt her. You never know if they pinch or bother them. Aren't we mean to make babies wear such fussy things? That is a cute family picture. I want a copy. Since my camera died. How typical. Grammy Kimmy might need a new camera. You might need to tell Grampa Kimmy. :)
Hey Christi and Ryan! It's Crystal Sorensen (now Muhlestein). Your family is so beautiful! I was so excited to find your blog! It sounds like you guys are doing great!
I was so sad to miss Sarah's blessing day. thanks for posting these photos. my mom made blessing dresses for all my girls too. but I don't sew much! so my poor grand daughters haven't gotten anything handmade by me! I did try to make Katelyn booties but they were so ugly I took them apart!
"To every man there comes in his lifetime that special moment when he is figuratively tapped on the shoulder to do a special thing unique to him and fitted to his talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds him unprepared or unqualified for the work which would be his finest hour."
~ Winston Churchill
"...She who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions deserves the admiration and the plaudits of mankind; but she who rears successfully a family of healthy, beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, whose immortal souls will exert an influence throughout the ages long after paintings shall have faded, and books and statues shall have decayed or shall have been destroyed, deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God. In her high duty and service to humanity, endowing with immortality eternal spirits, she is co-partner with the Creator himself.”
